This is a lighting kit designed for the original DJI Avata drone. *Note: This kit is not compatible with the newer Avata 2. Please check back in June for an update for the Avata 2 drone.
The lights provide forward and downward looking light allowing you to operate the Avata drone in low-light environments. The mounting system attaches easily to the Avata airframe without tools. The lights are rechargeable and can be installed in seconds.
The DJI Avata is a durable, maneuverable drone making it a popular choice for indoor searches and tactical operations. This light kit provides both forward and downward looking light for the DJI Avata making it an ideal choice for indoor tactical operations.
The tactical light mounting system was designed by a retired police officer and veteran drone pilot. The system has undergone field testing by law enforcement officers conducting indoor searches. Users report 10-14 minutes of flight time with the added weight of the lights.

Avata Light Mounting System Redesign Update – 10/30/23
The Avata Light Mounting system has been redesigned using nylon carbon-fiber material for increased strength and durability. All orders filled after this date will include the upgraded mounting system.

- Quick-release system attaches and detaches in seconds, no tools required

- The lights are mounted on the drone’s center of gravity and do not adversely affect flight characteristics
- The mounting system will not interfere with “turtle mode” meaning if the drone lands upside down the drone pilot can remotely flip the drone back upright and continue the flight. Other units with top or bottom mounted lights will not do this.

- Total width of the drone with lights attached is 10.5 inches. Total weight including light mounts is 89g.
- The FoxFury D3060 Trade Compliant is a small format drone, helmet and utility light. This trade compliant light is fully assembled in U.S.A. It has strobe-capable 30° and 60° dual LEDs that operate independently to provide 360° anti-collision lighting. The waterproof D3060 is rechargeable via USB-C and offers best-in-class durability. It lasts 1.5 to 3 hours on a single charge, and only weighs 1.3 oz (37 g). Its various mounting options enable it to be used as a utility, anti-collision or navigation light.
Warranty
The lights have a 1-year warranty with 300 cycles.
Quick release light mounts: If the light mounts break in the first year, just contact me for a free replacement. One free replacement per set purchase.
